We offer servicing and repairs to the professional photographer. As appointed agents we support consumers of Nikon, Leica, Laowa, Nanlux and various other products.

Position:

We're looking for a skilled, attention to detail oriented photographic equipment repair technician to join our team. The right candidate will be able attention to detail orientated, demonstrating advanced dexterity. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining cameras, lenses, and flash units for a variety of clients from hobbyists to professional photographers. Key Responsibilities:

- Independently diagnose mechanical, electrical, and optical faults in cameras, lenses, and flash/strobe units.
- Perform repairs including sensor cleaning, shutter replacement, lens element alignments, auto focus calibrations, and circuit board repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative servicing and cleaning to extend the lifespan of photographic equipment.
- Must be able to follow instructions to disassemble and reassemble precision equipment with the view to complete without assistance.
- Test repaired equipment to confirm correct function (focus accuracy, exposure, flash sync, etc).
- Provide accurate repair estimates and timelines to customers or management.
- Maintain detailed service records and repair documentation.




- Source and manage ordering of replacement parts and maintain spare part inventory.
- Stay up to date with current changes in photographic equipment including new camera models, lens technology and changes to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide clear and concise reporting and communications with fellow staff members regarding repair status.
- Articulate accurate technical explanations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience is preferable (but not limited to) in repairing cameras, lenses, or similar precision optical/electronic equipment.
- A strong understanding of camera mechanics, electronics, and optics is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and other precision instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and service manuals.
- Steady hands and excellent attention to detail for fine, delicate work.
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, sensors, and digital imaging components.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and fellow team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair jobs simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Manufacturer certification (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, etc) a plus.
- Experience with mirrorless and DSLR systems.
- Familiarity with flash/strobe electronics and lighting equipment.
- Prior experience in a camera repair shop, studio, or retail service center.
