The Role
30 horticulture workers are required starting August 2026 up to nine months across properties in Leeton and Griffith, NSW. Workers must be available to work 5-7 days per week between 6am to 2 pm, though this may change from time to time. Hours of work may vary daily with the demands, averaging 30 hours per week. Wages will be paid under the Horticulture Award 2020 at the Level 1 Casual hourly award rate ($31.79 per hour). This work is indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and involves picking, packing and general crop management of grapes, citrus and vegetables.
About you / Criteria
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability and ability to stay for the entire duration (9 months).
- Ability to work flexible schedule as rosters may vary.
- A reliable positive attitude toward work with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Be physically fit and self-motivated as you may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Full working rights for Australia.
- Have a driver’s licence and reliable transport.
