We are currently seeking a highly motivated Workshop Supervisor to join our team and lead our Workshop with a team of Boilermakers, Machine Operators, Welders and Apprentices.

The successful candidate will report to the Fabrication Manager and be responsible for supervising all daily workshop operation activities.

Key duties will be:

- Supervise the workshop's daily operational activities,




- Ensure only VoC workers undertake VoC tasks,
- Review drawings prior to issue and allocate work,
- Plan jobs. Provide leadership to the workshop team,
- Train team members in welding applications,
- Dispatch jobs according to the Fabrication program,

To successfully secure this position you need to demonstrate:

- proven experience and a leadership role in structural steel fabrication,
- formal trade qualifications (Cert III) and a forklift licence are essential,
- Higher-level certificates (Cert IV and Welding Supervisor - AS2214) are preferable,
- an ability to establish rapport and manage a workshop team,
