TheOpportunity
Weare looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Airport Teamin Kununurra, as Airport Service Officers.
This position isresponsible for the delivery of high-quality customer-focusedscreening services while creating safe and memorable travelexperiences for passengers and visitors transiting through ourairport. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the safety, securityand integrity of the airport, aircraft andtravellers;
- Provide consistent andstandard screening practices to ensuring passengers and theirpossessions are checked and cleared according tolegislation;
- Efficiently co-ordinate theflow of passengers through security screening;
- Demonstrate effectivecommunication and sound decision-making;
- Control access to and exitfrom security sensitive areas,
- Undertake physical searchesof passengers and baggage where required;
- Provide a consistenthigh-quality customer service;
- Undertake general cleaningtasks of terminal amenities and associatedbuildings;
- Maintain a professionallevel of personal grooming and represent the Shire in aprofessional manner at all times.
Certificate ll in TransportSecurity Protection (AV );Red Aviation Security IdentificationCard and an acceptable National Police Check are essential for thisrole.
You will also need excellentverbal communication skills, ability to demonstrate excellentcustomer service in a complex workplace,
ability to deal withconflict and achieve resolution
