Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in managing and leading staff involved in critical forest and fire operations? Join our elite team as a Field Operations Supervisor!

As a Field Operations Supervisor you'll help deliver a wide range of operational tasks such as fire prevention works and forest management activities in Victoria's state forests and other public land.

Applicants must hold a current manual Drivers Licence (conditions A, I & V not acceptable for employment).

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

- Expertise in managing works programs in one of more of the following: planned burning, unsealed road management or other operational forest management activities including experience in management of staff.
- Experience and understanding of forest firefighting techniques, the Australasian Interagency Incident Management System and other emergency response activities.

This position is ongoing, available in the regional location of Macedon, Victoria.

You’ll have the chance to explore and protect stunning landscapes whilst earning a competitive salary ranging from $75,361 to $82,298 per annum, plus superannuation.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to achieve a competent result in the DEECA General Firefighter accreditation.

To be eligible for appointment to this role, applicants will possess corresponding work rights for the advertised employment period. Appointment to an ongoing position is only available to an Australian/Current Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
