About the Team
Industry Skills and Learning sits within External Engagement and Partnerships and supports the delivery of industry-facing educational and training activities, such as bespoke and modular enterprise learning programs and short-form professional and executive education, in collaboration with partners and faculties.
Job Purpose
This role is responsible for delivering high quality enterprise learning experiences through the UTS Open platform. Through the coordination of enabling technology platforms, customer service and learner support, it contributes to consistent, high quality learner experience and continuous improvement across the learning lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead product ownership for the online learning platform, including backlog management and prioritisation within an agile framework.
- Coordinate platform improvements, business process enhancements and integration with enabling systems.
- Oversee the end to end learner journey including onboarding, support, feedback and credentialing processes.
- Maintain and contribute to policies, governance frameworks and operational practices that support delivery.
- Coordinate delivery processes with faculties and internal teams to support short form learning.
- Engage stakeholders across the university and with external providers to support platform operations and learner experience.
Skills, Attributes and Knowledge
- Ability to lead platform development and translate business needs into actionable enhancements.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
- Capability to develop and implement policies, governance and business processes.
- Analytical skills to interpret learner data and platform performance.
- Ability to coordinate complex work across diverse stakeholders and priorities.
- Knowledge of agile delivery and product ownership practices.
- Understanding of higher education and enterprise learning environments.
Experience
- Experience in platform management or product ownership within a complex organisation.
- Experience working in agile project environments including backlog management.
- Experience engaging stakeholders across academic, qualified and technical teams.
- Experience in education or digital learning delivery contexts.
- Experience coordinating operations, process improvement and policy implementation.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification with relevant experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $143,080.00 - $149,894.00(HEW9) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
