Job Description
We are excited to offer a highly sought-after casual Dietitian opportunity within our Allied Health team at Epworth Richmond!
We are seeking applications from passionateGrade 1 Dietitians , who are looking for casual work within a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.
This role is ideal for an innovative, motivated and patient-focused clinician committed to delivering evidence-based care and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality Dietetic services across a varied acute caseload,with a focus on achieving positive clinical and long-term health outcomes.
While primarily based atEpworth Richmond , you may also be required to work atEpworth Freemasons to support service delivery across the network.
Reporting to the Manager of Dietetics, you will join a close-knit and highly regarded Dietetics team that values collaboration, innovation and clinical excellence. Your ability to build strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues, combined with your excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills, will see you thrive in this role.

You will make an impact by:
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition assessment and intervention across a diverse acute inpatient caseload
- Providing tailored nutrition advice, education, counselling and ongoing support to patients, families and carers to achieve optimal health outcomes
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, patient-centred care and support positive clinical outcomes
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, service development activities and the ongoing pursuit of clinical excellence
- Demonstrating compassion, empathy and professionalism while encouraging patients and their families to actively participate in all stages of care
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience working in an acute healthcare setting
- A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary care
- Exceptional patient-focus with a passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences and outcomes
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders across a range of clinical settings
- A quality and risk-focused approach to clinical practice, decision-making and patient care
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement

Qualifications
- Bachelor / Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
- Eligibilityfor full membership with Dietitians Association Australia
- Eligible for the APD program
