We are seeking an experienced GCP Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, DevOps, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Manage and optimize GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, IAM, and VPC.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform .
- Build and support Kubernetes platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) .
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security using cloud-native monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application deployment issues.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Implement cloud security controls, governance policies, and access management.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and platform optimization initiatives.

Required Skills





- 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and containerized workloads.
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build .
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container technologies.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, and DNS.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Valuable understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and compliance controls.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and cloud-native data services.
- Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices.
- Experience with Python, Bash, or Go scripting.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
