Overview
Personal Assistant to Chief Operating Officer
Weinberger Lawyers is a growing commercial law firm based in Sydney, specialising in complex property, commercial and litigation matters. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and capable Personal Assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer and assist across the wider team.
Responsibilities
- Managing emails, calendars, appointments and schedules
- Conducting online research and preparing clear summaries and recommendations
- Researching awards, events, memberships, suppliers and business opportunities
- Assisting with award submissions, applications and other written materials
- Coordinating meetings, events, suppliers and external services
- Assisting with projects and operational tasks across the business
- Drafting and responding to basic correspondence
- Preparing documents, formatting materials and assisting with written tasks
- Transcribing dictation and assisting with basic legal administration tasks
- Filing, document organisation and maintaining records
- Supporting other team members with administrative tasks as required
- Running errands and completing practical tasks outside the office, including collecting items, visiting the post office, purchasing gifts, organising deliveries, attending the supermarket,
picking up dry cleaning or other tasks that assist the COO and business operations
Additional Team Support
While this role primarily supports the COO, our Principal Lawyer has an existing Personal Assistant who provides dedicated support. During particularly busy periods, you may be required to assist with overflow tasks and collaborate with her to ensure priorities across the business continue to be managed efficiently.

- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions within your responsibilities
- Reliable, discreet and trustworthy
- Able to manage multiple priorities at once
- Confident conducting online research and finding relevant information quickly
- Able to summarise information clearly and logically
- Practical, resourceful and solutions-focused
- Comfortable with variety and changing priorities
- Previous experience in administration, executive assistance, customer service, operations or a similar role is preferred
- Legal experience is not required
