Cyber Assurance Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a senior cyber assurance practitioner with demonstrated experience delivering cyber security assessments, guidance, authorisation activities and assurance reviews in Defence or government environments. The role involves reviewing authoring security documentation, assessing compliance, identifying gaps in architecture and controls, preparing assessment reports and authorisation briefs, and advising senior stakeholders on improvements to cyber security posture.

Candidates should have prior experience as an IRAP assessor, Security Assessor or in an equivalent accredited role, together with strong knowledge of the ISM, Essential Eight, DSPF, NIST frameworks and security risk management. Proven experience across infrastructure, networking, virtualisation, cloud platforms and security technologies, supported by qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent are required. Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a senior network engineer experienced in designing, integrating and supporting complex voice, video and data networks in Defence or similarly regulated environments. The role includes developing and reviewing engineering artefacts, supporting architecture and design activities, managing technical risks, contributing to cyber security hardening, and working with stakeholders across engineering, project and operational teams.

Candidates should have tertiary qualifications in network engineering, computer science or a related discipline and be registered with a professional engineering body (or be able to attain such status).



Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience to guide and coach teams in the delivery of strategy and change management. Relevant Defence project experience (ASDEFCON suite), and industry network certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE or equivalent are highly regarded. ACT based candidates only.

Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced systems administrator to support complex Defence ICT environments across Windows and Red Hat Linux platforms. Responsibilities include system installation, configuration and maintenance, performance tuning, fault diagnosis and recovery across enterprise environments.

Candidates should have robust infrastructure, systems administration, networking, hardware and troubleshooting skills, ideally gained in mission-critical or Defence C4I environments. Experience in cyber security, information assurance, databases, network integration and operational support is important, as is the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working on Defence or classified networks, or in secure facilities, is highly regarded.

Cyber Security Assessor

We are seeking an experienced cyber security assessor with a strong Defence background and hands‑on experience delivering assessment and authorisation activities against project and product mandatory security requirements in accordance with Defence security frameworks, such as the ISM, CSAAF, DSPF and related Defence security frameworks. The role involves extensive stakeholder engagement, development and evaluation of security documentation, participation in architecture review boards, and independent assessment of system security posture.

Candidates should have at least five years’ experience supporting military cyber security environments and a record of developing security architectures, strategies and documentation, risk assessments, accreditation artefacts, and cyber test and evaluation requirements. Essential qualifications include CISSP or equivalent, SABSA security architecture certification, and CISA or an equivalent auditing certification.
