Digital Communications Advisor – 12 Month Casual Contract, Perth CBD, Oil and Gas

An exciting prospect exists for an experienced Digital Communications Advisor to join a fast‑paced Corporate Affairs team within a major energy organization.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow social media channels across platforms including LinkedIn and Meta.
- Plan, schedule and publish engaging organic content while maintaining brand consistency.
- Create, update and maintain website content, landing pages and digital assets through CMS platforms.
- Produce high‑quality digital content including copywriting, graphics, video content and social media assets.
- Support internal stakeholders with digital publishing and CMS‑related queries.
- Coordinate external agencies and creative partners, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to brief.
- Monitor social channels and support community management activities.
- Track and analyse digital performance, providing clear insights and recommendations through reporting dashboards.

You are a creative and digitally savvy communications professional who combines strong content creation skills with technical digital expertise.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Proven experience managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Meta.




- Strong CMS and web publishing experience.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), digital tracking and performance measurement.
- Excellent copywriting, content development and storytelling skills.
- Experience creating visual assets using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic video editing and content production capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

Desirable Experience

- Presenting digital performance insights to non‑technical audiences.
- Managing agencies and external suppliers.
- Understanding of brand governance, reputation management and compliance requirements.
- Exposure to advocacy, issues management or crisis communications.
- Familiarity with AI and marketing automation tools.
- Photography and videography experience.
