Job Specification

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Manager to lead the front-of-shop operations within a busy community pharmacy. You will oversee a team of approximately 12‑15 staff, fostering a positive and customer‑focused culture while ensuring productive day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Managing rosters and HR administration, coordinating staff induction and ongoing training, and confidently handling team discussions and workplace matters. You will take ownership of front‑of‑shop ordering, stock management, invoicing,



merchandising standards, and stocktakes, ensuring the retail department operates smoothly and efficiently. Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and key stakeholders will also be integral to your success.

Skills Required

- Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (or equivalent pharmacy qualification)
- S2/S3 Certificate highly regarded
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Australian community pharmacy
- Experience working with QCPP standards and accreditation processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage staff development, performance, and workplace issues professionally
