Glencore Technology delivers world leading mineral processing, leaching, refining and smelting technologies to clients worldwide. Our technologies include IsaMills™, Jameson Cells, ISASMELT™, Albion, HyperSparge™, and ISAKIDD Technology.

We are currently seeking an experienced Proposals Engineer to join our Growth & Solutions department. This role involves preparing and negotiating proposals for hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical and mineral processing bids and tenders, and administering the system that underlies the proposal process.

Responsibilities

- Proposal development for complex bids and tenders across all our mineral processing technologies
- Stakeholder Management
- Commercial and legal negotiation with support from subject matter experts
- Sales forecasting
- Systems support and systems management




- Project management of tenders with multiple stakeholders
- Support of our business and technology strategy development

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in proposal development for engineering projects
- Solid commercial and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills with cross functional teams
