Location: Brisbane

Salary: 150,742 – 171,215 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end implementations, rollouts, and enhancements for SAP Payroll and SAP Time Management
- Gather and analyse business requirements related to payroll processing, work schedules, attendance, absences, overtime, and statutory regulations
- Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, payroll control records, and remuneration structures
- Configure time management components including work schedules, holiday calendars, absence/attendance types, time evaluation, and quota management
- Support payroll processing for regular payroll, off‑cycle payroll, retroactive accounting, and payroll corrections
- Ensure compliance with country‑specific payroll and labour law requirements, tax regulations, and statutory reporting needs
- Facilitate workshops and solution design sessions with HR, payroll, finance, and compliance teams
- Enable integration with SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP, SAP HCM, Finance, and third‑party systems such as time clocks, banks, and tax interfaces
- Support data migration, payroll reconciliation, parallel payroll runs, and validation activities
- Drive issue resolution during testing, cutover, go‑live, and hyper‑care phases
- Support development of payroll reports, reconciliation reports, statutory outputs, and audit support documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows, and custom programme requirements

Technical Expertise Requirements

- Business requirement documents (BRD) and functional specification documents (FS)
- Payroll and time management solution design documents
- Configuration documentation for payroll, time evaluation, schemas, rules, and wage types




- Integration design documents covering HR, Finance, banking, and third‑party time systems
- Data migration templates, reconciliation outputs, and payroll validation reports
- Test scenarios, test scripts, defect logs, and payroll test cycle results
- Cutover plans, payroll parallel run reports, and go‑live readiness documentation
- Training materials, SOPs, and end‑user guides
- Statutory compliance and reporting design documentation
- Post‑go‑live support plans and knowledge transfer documents

Essential Qualifications

- Strong experience in SAP Payroll and SAP Time Management
- Proven experience in full‑lifecycle implementations, rollouts, or support engagements in payroll and time domains
- Deep understanding of payroll processing concepts including schemas, rules, wage types, retro payroll, off‑cycle payroll, and payroll reconciliation
- Hands‑on expertise in time evaluation, absence/attendance management, quota accruals, work schedules, and holiday calendars
- Valuable understanding of statutory compliance, tax calculations, social security, and labour law requirements
- Experience in integration with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors EC/ECP, Finance, and external payroll/time interfaces
- Strong knowledge of payroll master data, organisational assignments, and personnel administration dependencies
- Experience supporting payroll testing, mock runs,



parallel runs, defect management, and cutover planning
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Ability to conduct workshops, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and support business users during critical payroll cycles

Additional Qualifications

- Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SuccessFactors Time Management
- Exposure to global payroll operations and multi‑country implementation or rollout programmes
- Knowledge of payroll control centre, payroll automation, and digital HR transformation initiatives
- Experience with third‑party payroll providers, time clock integrations, or workforce management systems
- Familiarity with country‑specific localisation and statutory payroll reporting requirements
- SAP certification in SAP HCM Payroll, SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, or related areas
- Experience in hybrid landscapes involving on‑prem SAP HCM and cloud HR/payroll solutions
- Familiarity with SAP Activate, Agile, and compliance‑driven delivery methodologies
