Job Description

- Perform wire cutting, labelling, crimping, and termination to exact specifications
- Install electrical looms and components in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions
- Conduct electrical testing, measurement, and fault finding to ensure system integrity and performance
- Support statutory and preventative maintenance activities across production systems
- Respond to facility asset breakdowns and assist during equipment failures to minimise downtime
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to meet production and quality targets

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Knowledge of electrical rollingstock systems, manufacturing processes, and specialised equipment, from production to electrical testing and commissioning (desired)
- Sound knowledge of Queensland electrical regulations and relevant Australian electrical standards,



with the ability to apply them in both manufacturing and maintenance environments
- The ability to dismantle, repair, replace, assemble, and fit engineering components
- Skilled in precision electrical and electronic measurement
- Experience in terminating and connecting electrical wiring, including electrical crimping
- The capability to fault‑find and repair electrical equipment and components operating up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC
