Our dedicated, 17‑bed standalone Coronary Care Unit has a highly skilled team caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions and procedures such as TAVI, ablations and interventions. Supported by an education team, we provide ongoing training and development, including postgraduate education and advanced practice courses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, research‑based standards of nursing care
- Provide complex and multi‑disciplinary care
- Work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
Qualifications
- Authority to work in Australia
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate in Coronary Care or Critical Care, or minimum 2 years’ experience in a CCU
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self‑motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high‑functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Flexibility to work a fully rotational roster

Salary will be based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement: Victoria – Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2025 (salary range between $41.90 and $53.69 + 12.5% Super).
Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment.
