Asset & Logistics Coordinator | Geraldton WA | Full time

Established in 2010, RDH is a privately owned Civil Construction, Heavy Haulage and Mining Services Operation, offering a wide range of civil and earthmoving solutions to an extensive client base throughout Regional Western Australia. We deliver tailored earthmoving and civil solutions for projects ranging from $2 million to $45 million, backed by a proven track record of project accountability, safety and quality outcomes.

About the role

Red Dust Holdings is seeking an experienced and motivated Asset & Logistics Coordinator to join our Geraldton team. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating the scheduling, utilisation, and management of our fleet, including company-owned and cross-hired construction plant, equipment, and ancillary assets. You will be joining an established team with well-developed systems, processes, and supplier relationships already in place, providing a solid foundation for success. We are looking for a proactive, organised professional with experience in asset coordination or logistics who can confidently build relationships across the business while ensuring operational requirements are met.

Position Details

- Full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
- Based in our Geraldton office (not FIFO and no relocation provided)
- Occasional site travel may be required to support major project mobilisations

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinating the scheduling and allocation of company-owned and cross-hired assets within the RDH asset management system.




- Maintaining accurate records relating to asset utilisation, maintenance schedules and cross hired asset repairs.
- Liaising with project teams, workshop personnel, and other departments to coordinate asset movements and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinating the procurement and cross-hire of plant and equipment through established supplier networks.
- Preparing and issuing plant hire agreements using existing contract templates and processes.
- Completing mobilisation documentation and asset paperwork to meet project requirements.
- Maintaining plant utilisation and cost records.
- Preparing plant utilisation reports, including under-utilised assets and fleet availability.
- Assisting with plant cost tracking, end-of-month reporting and cost allocation.
- Maintaining accurate records to support internal and external audit requirements.

About You

- Experience in asset coordination, fleet management, logistics, or a similar operational role.
- A sound understanding of construction plant, machinery, and equipment.
- Previous logistics or transport coordination experience (highly regarded).
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence using current software systems and learning new processes quickly.
- A proactive approach, strong initiative,



and a continuous improvement mindset.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence (minimum requirement).
- The ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening requirements.
