About Auburn House

Auburn House is an aged care provider and specialist aged people’s mental health unit with 30 private rooms in a newly refurbished home‑like workplace. We care for residents with diverse mental health, behavioural and psychological needs and provide a person‑centred care model that supports choice and eliminates institutional elements.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Auburn House in Hawthorn East, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the dignity and quality of life of our residents with unique behavioural and psychological needs. You will provide clinical care and therapeutic engagement to a diverse group of residents, making a profound impact on their lives.

Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 NP21 to NP70.

About You

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse with a background in aged mental health or dementia care. Your commitment to a person‑centred approach will empower residents to achieve their health goals and enhance their overall well‑being.

Qualifications and Commitment

- Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
- Understanding of relevant legislation,



principles and practice of aged psychiatry.
- Understanding of the Commonwealth Strengthened Aged Care Standards.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Vaccination Requirement
