Montgomery Advisory are representing a leading global professional services firm to help their busy in-house practice with their workload. This is a fantastic contract opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team offering high-quality work, strong development opportunities, and a positive team culture. The initial 3 month period may be open to extension.
The role
- Provide legal support across all aspects of regulatory compliance and risk
- Support for litigation and other contentious matters
- Collaborating with and supporting corporate functions
- Building trusted and strong relationships with internal clients
Key responsibilities
- Assist on a range of regulatory and compliance matters
- Assist with the review, legal analysis and preparation of legal advice for internal clients
- Litigation support
- Support senior lawyers on complex matters and deliverables
- Provide focused, pragmatic solutions to address risk and complex business problems.
About you
You will be at least 5 - 10 years' PQE with relevant in-house regulatory and compliance experience. Desirable is strong litigation experience. You will have:
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills
- Experience across regulatory, compliance and litigation processes
- Experience in advising senior management with clear and concise advice
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic
- Experience working within formal governance frameworks
