About the role:
- Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple cycles
- Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, and EA's
- Act as the escalation point for complex payroll matters
- Oversee payroll audits, reporting, and reconciliations
- Drive system optimisation, upgrades, and data integrity
- Partner with Finance, HR, and IT to enhance payroll processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing payroll team
About you:
- Robust experience in payroll leadership roles
- Deep knowledge of Australian payroll compliance and legislation
- SCHADS experience is desirable
- Dayforce experience is desirable
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing payroll audits, reporting, and controls
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence across the business
