Stegbar Showers are currently seeking experienced Wardrobe Installers and Sub-contractors. This opportunity provides long‑term possibilities as continual training is available to those who wish to learn how to install a wider range of products. As the installation of our products is the last and vital link in our customer value chain, the motivated individual will share our passion for exceeding our customers’ expectations and will deliver a lasting impression of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Work Practices: Take accountability for your own and others’ safety. Maintain a safe, supportive and hazard‑free work workplace while working in accordance with Company WHS procedures and practices.
- Installation: Ensure all daily planned installation requirements are actioned to meet our customer commitments (DIFOT) with a high focus on safety and quality.
- Planning/Preparation & Customer Contact: Proactively contribute to a pleasant and productive customer experience. Ensure all customers are contacted prior to the install date to arrange a mutually suitable time for access and installation.
- Service and Quality:
Effectively represent the brand with pride and passion, meeting the company quality and service standards.
- Daily Completions: Submit daily documentation and monies collected (where applicable) to the office each day to enable updates of job completions and invoicing.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- General: Contribute to the broader tasks, goals, plans and projects of the business unit as required.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures and compliance standards and always operate with integrity.
You must also hold the following:
- Construction Induction White Card
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Work Rights in Australia
- Clean valid police check
To be considered for a sub‑contracting opportunity you must:
- Be an ABN holder; Pty Ltd company registration is highly desirable
- Have relevant insurances, such as Workers Compensation, Public Liability Insurance and Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Own a late‑model long‑wheel‑based van—such as a Hi Ace Van—that can carry material of at least 2.8 m in length
- Own the necessary tools required to perform this work
All successful candidates will have to undertake a pre‑employment medical assessment as well as drug and alcohol screening.
