About the Role

Location: Sydney, Australia.

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to support the modernisation of enterprise applications and CI/CD platforms. This role involves migrating build and deployment pipelines from TeamCity to GitHub Actions , implementing DevOps guardrails , remediating security and dependency vulnerabilities, modernising deployment processes, and enabling automated testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive CI/CD migration from TeamCity to GitHub Actions
- Implement and maintain DevSecOps guardrails and engineering standards
- Support dependency and security vulnerability remediation
- Improve deployment automation and platform modernisation
- Enable and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality, security, and delivery efficiency

Required Skills

- Strong software engineering fundamentals (SOLID, DRY, Composition over Inheritance)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions
- Understanding of automated testing (UI, integration, or unit testing)
- Knowledge/Experience with Playwright is highly desirable
- Background in .NET/C# or Java is advantageous
- Exposure to DevSecOps, dependency management, and security remediation initiatives
