Experienced Chef / Food Production Manager – Fishnfresh (Carrara, QLD)
Fishnfresh is seeking an Experienced Chef / Production Manager to join our busy processing factory in Carrara.
We’re looking for a positive, proactive individual who takes ownership of all manufacturing procedures and team management. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are maintained across all processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of approximately 12–15 staff (and growing)
- Oversee all production and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain a clean, effective, and safe working environment
- Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Motivate, train, and lead your team to achieve production targets
- Work closely with senior management to improve processes and output
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate and lead staff to meet daily production requirements
- Complete all production and HACCP paperwork accurately and on time
- Ensure daily orders and production targets are consistently met
- Implement improvements to productivity and process efficiency
- Support the training and development of production staff
About You
- Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced food production or kitchen environment
- A strong communicator and team player with leadership experience
- Practical, solution-focused, and confident in improving processes and outputs
- A hands-on leader with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
- Able to work early mornings, Monday to Friday (no split shifts)
