Overview

We are seeking recent or recently graduated Physiotherapists to join our dynamic and supportive team across acute, subacute and community settings. The role supports the recovery, mobility and independence of patients throughout Tasmania.

The Role

- Provide physiotherapy assessments and interventions to patients referred to the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) Physiotherapy Services.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure safe and effective delivery of patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members across relevant areas of the Agency.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative activity data in accordance with Departmental requirements.
- Attend and participate in family, ward and departmental meetings and in‑services as required.
- Liaise with other physiotherapists and members of the multi‑disciplinary team regarding ongoing patient care.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Tertiary qualification or programme of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and registration with the Board of Australia.

Details of Appointment

- Fixed‑term full‑time day worker (with on‑call), 76 hours per fortnight,



commencing as soon as possible for a period of twelve months.
- Hours to be negotiated with successful applicant.

Salary & Superannuation

£81,614 to £117,074 per annum with 12% superannuation contribution on top.

Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
