We need YOU for an immediate start on a FIFO 3-month contract (with the possibility for extension) at our regional hospital.
Your role
Utilise your culinary skills within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver high‑quality services to residents in regional aged care facilities. This is a unique opportunity to take up an exciting position with a leading healthcare provider!

Your responsibilities include
- Food Prep: Preparing light food items like sandwiches, salads, fruits, and mid‑meal snacks.
- Distribution: Transporting and delivering food trolleys and meal trays to ward bays or directly to patient bedsides.
- Collection: Clearing used trays and trolleys from wards and returning them to the central kitchen.
- Dishwashing: Operating industrial dishwashers, pot washing, and cleaning culinary utensils.
- Sanitation: Following hospital cleaning schedules, including mopping,
wiping down benchtops, and sanitizing food trolleys.
- Compliance: Strictly adhering to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and Food Safety Standards.
The ideal candidate will have
- Certificate III or Equivalent qualifications.
- 6 months of experience required.
- National Police Clearance or willing to obtain.
- Working with Children card or willing to obtain.
- Current Manual Handling Certificate.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations and current Influenza vaccination.
- Certificate of All About Allergens for Hospitals: Kitchen Staff.
