Job Description

This part‑time role offers immediate start, competitive hourly pay of $30 to $35 base rate, and a supportive team environment committed to dignity, independence, and positive resident experiences. As a Personal Care Assistant you will deliver essential support that directly improves daily life for older adults.

Your work helps maintain comfort, safety, and emotional wellbeing while fostering meaningful connections and preserving independence. This role is ideal for someone who values hands‑on care, effective communication, and working within a respectful, team‑oriented aged care setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, and dressing.
- Support residents with meal assistance and hydration, observing dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility aids, promoting independence and safety.
- Monitor health status, report changes or concerns to nursing staff, and follow care plans.




- Participate in meaningful engagement activities to support social and emotional wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to privacy, infection control, and workplace policies.

This position is based in Mannum, South Australia, and requires commitment to quality care and adherence to regulatory standards in the aged care sector.

About the Candidate

We are seeking compassionate, reliable workers with a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
- Current National Police Check and transparent working with vulnerable people clearance.
- Proven experience in aged care or similar personal support roles preferred.
- Female applicants preferred due to resident comfort and specific care needs where a genuine occupational requirement exists.
- Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work part‑time shifts and adapt to rostered hours including mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.

What We Offer

Hourly base rate between $30 and $35, reflecting experience and qualifications.
