Are you an Electrical Tradesperson who enjoys fault-finding, troubleshooting, and working on a variety of industrial equipment in the field?

We are partnering with a globally recognised organisation that services clients across the manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, and civil sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Technician to join their team in a permanent full-time position.

The Role

This is a predominantly field-based role where you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of industrial electrical and electro-mechanical equipment at customer sites.

You will work directly with customers to diagnose faults, minimise downtime, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role offers plenty of variety, autonomy, and exposure to a broad range of industrial applications.

Responsibilities

- Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Installation and commissioning of industrial equipment
- Testing and calibration of electrical systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- PLC fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Providing technical support to customers




- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation

Suitable Backgrounds

- Maintenance Electrician

What You'll Need

- Experience in industrial electrical maintenance or field service
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience with motors, drives, control systems, sensors, and PLCs highly regarded
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Commitment to workplace safety
