Overview

Mars Petcare role within Mars: working to make life better for pets and their owners. This role spans from Metro Adelaide & Eastern Hills Area with some overnight travel, representing our products in this territory and ensuring professional representation and strong product availability.

What you’ll do

- Build and maintain mutual customer relationships throughout your territory.
- Proactively manage trade expenditure to deliver against sales targets.
- Execute promotional plans in store to maximise sales and brand presence, and collaborate with customers to identify new growth opportunities.
- Ensure all national programs are executed within your territory and proactively communicate on compliance issues.
- Ensure product availability in all accounts as per the agreed channel or account plans.
- Manage Point of Sale (POS) ordering, storage and waste minimization.
- Act on consumer and customer feedback in a timely manner.
- Actively contribute and participate in team engagement activities and meetings.
- Deliver against key performance indicators including territory coverage, distribution, share of shelf, off location displays and turn in orders.

Your unique ingredients

- Bachelor in Business, Marketing or other related discipline preferred but not essential.
- Ideally you will have 2+ years’ experience in FMCG sales with a history of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience working with KPI’s and exceeding allocated targets.
- Proven track record of creative problem solving & delivering results.
- Driven, self-reliant and resilient, able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment.
