Atlas Partners is partnering with a global mid‑tier accounting and advisory firm to find an experienced Manager to join their rapidly growing Financial Advisory division in Melbourne.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Lead Partner, you'll take ownership of engagement delivery and lead a team of 4-5 across a diverse portfolio of small‑to‑mid‑market transactions.

Day‑to‑day you'll be responsible for:

- Leading buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence engagements – data analysis, data book construction and review, and preparation of detailed reports of findings
- Quality of earnings analysis, assessment of key business risks and historical trends, and forecast cash flow analysis
- Managing the drafting of accounting‑related clauses in SPAs, EBIT normalisation, working capital calculations, and debt‑like items
- Supporting Deal Lead Advisory mandates (buy‑side and sell‑side) and managing execution and delivery
- Overseeing the build and delivery of financial models – debt advisory, vendor readiness, profit improvement, and more
- Managing and mentoring the team,



and coordinating with other experts on engagements
- Supporting business development activity to grow the financial advisory portfolio

Unlike the Big 4, this team isn't siloed and you'll get exposure across transaction services, deal advisory, debt advisory, and modelling, all within one role.

About You

- Big 4 or mid‑tier background in transaction services, financial due diligence, or corporate finance
- CA qualified (or equivalent) highly regarded
- Proven people management experience; you can lead, develop, and get the best out of a team
- Strong technical grounding across due diligence, financial modelling, and deal execution
- A genuine go‑getter with excellent communication skills and a commercial, client‑facing mindset
