Overview

Nuage is partnered with a leading technology business. We are looking for an AWS / DevOps Engineer to join a high performing engineering team delivering cloud infrastructure, automation and CI/CD improvements across a modern AWS setting. This role is Sydney CBD (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) on a 6-month contract, and offers up to $850 per day.

Responsibilities

- Designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
- Driving cloud security, governance and infrastructure as code best practices
- Supporting automated and manual testing environments
- Integrating testing frameworks into deployment pipelines
- Troubleshooting environment and deployment issues




- Collaborating with engineering, QA and security teams to improve platform reliability and delivery speed

Qualifications

- Robust AWS and DevOps engineering experience
- Commercial experience with Terraform
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Experience with GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI
- Exposure to HashiCorp Sentinel or Policy as Code frameworks
- Experience supporting automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of ECS, EKS and/or Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
