Description

As a Manager CI & Change, you'll lead and coordinate continuous improvement and change activities across our Insurance & Claims business. You'll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities, align initiatives to business priorities, and create a consistent approach to change delivery and operational embedding.
You'll play a key leadership role in driving member-focused outcomes, improving processes, managing performance frameworks, and enhancing the way change is delivered across the business unit. This is an chance to influence strategic direction while supporting the delivery of exceptional experiences for both members and employees.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate continuous improvement and change initiatives across Insurance & Claims.
- Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify and deliver improvements to member and employee experiences.
- Establish a coordinated approach to change delivery, governance, prioritisation, and operational embedding.
- Provide strategic and operational support to the General Manager Insurance and Claims, including acting as delegate when required.
- Develop measurement frameworks and reporting to monitor service performance and improvement outcomes.
- Build team capability and foster a high-performing, member-focused culture.
- Manage business risks and support effective incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to the design and execution of Insurance & Claims strategy and broader business planning.
Qualifications
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- You hold business-related tertiary qualifications or bring equivalent experience in a similar leadership role.
- Your leadership experience has been gained within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.

- You're highly skilled at influencing stakeholders and leading successful change initiatives.
- You're a communicator effectively with audiences at all levels and can present complex information clearly.
- Your analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate complex business challenges.
- You'll bring experience in superannuation and/or insurance, or the ability to quickly develop domain expertise.
- You're familiar with project management methodologies and governance practices.
