Opportunity
As a Cook in our residential aged‑care community, you’ll play a key role in delivering secure, nutritious, high‑quality meals that support the wellbeing and preferences of our residents.
Your Responsibilities
- Meal preparation — creating fresh, nutritious meals tailored to individual needs
- Food handling & storage — maintaining strict safety and compliance
- Food ordering — managing stock levels and supplier orders
- Chemical management — safe use and storage of kitchen chemicals
- Team collaboration — contributing to a supportive, positive kitchen culture
- Customer service — respectful, warm interactions with residents and staff
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Awareness of dementia‑inclusive meal service
Who We’re Looking For
- Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
- Food Handling Certificate
- Ideally 6+ months experience in aged care or health environme
- Salary packaging up to $15,990 + Meals & Entertainment card ($2,650)
