Role Overview

Are you passionate about improving the health and well‑being of children and families? Join our agile team in Northern NSW Local Health District. As an Aboriginal Health Worker you will:

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
- Provide community and allied health services across the life span, from antenatal to end‑of‑life care.
- Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
- Support health promotion and client‑driven service improvement initiatives.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal, and accepted in the community as such.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident, or legally eligible to live and work in Australia.
- Evidence of required vaccination in accordance with NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination policy.
- Provisional six‑month probationary period may apply.
