The Role

Reporting to the Clinical Unit Head of Anaesthetics, the Staff Specialist Anaesthetist will provide anaesthesia and perioperative services across a broad range of surgical and interventional specialties. You will work as part of a team-oriented multidisciplinary team, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.

The department supports contemporary models of care and offers exposure to a wide and complex clinical caseload, supported by advanced technology and infrastructure.

Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

- FANZCA
- ANZCA Advanced Trainees within 6 months of fellowship
- International Medical Graduates assessed as Substantially Comparable
- IMGs currently undergoing ANZCA assessment
- UK‑trained Anaesthetists eligible via the ANZCA expedited pathway
