Excellent opportunity to work with a growing fit‑out and refurb design and build contractor with an excellent culture. Projects will range from $200k to $2m across commercial workspace, healthcare and hospitality sectors.

A market‑leading team with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking a Project Coordinator to join their growing business.

Offering a range of services to their clients, the company specialises in commercial fit‑out and refurbishment, with a strong portfolio across commercial workspace, healthcare and hospitality. Incorporating a wide range of skillsets, they manage their projects from design stage through to handover.

As Project Coordinator, you will support the project team in the delivery of high quality and on‑time construction projects, helping ensure that the projects are completed to documented drawings, specifications and nominated timeframes. You will gain exposure to projects from design stage through to handover.

With a project portfolio spanning workspace, healthcare and hospitality fit‑outs, you will help keep contracts/projects running smoothly, providing coordination and administrative support to maintain the high quality and profitability of the projects while financial and contractual risks are minimised.

Responsibilities





- Assist with the procurement of subcontractors and the issuing of subcontracts against budget
- Coordinate project documentation, drawings and document control throughout tender and delivery
- Support the team in compiling construction methodologies for tenders
- Help maintain project programs and communicate updates to the team
- Assist in tracking construction risk across projects, escalating issues when required
- Support the tracking of project expenditure and cashflow
- Assist in compiling project completion and handover documentation
- Coordinate defect identification and rectification
- Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to support smooth project delivery

Qualifications and Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar
- Minimum 1 year experience in a coordination or support role with a fit‑out contractor or builder
- A proactive, organised and team‑oriented approach with a willingness to learn
- Working knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
- Solid document control and reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
