About The Role
As a Registered Nurse you will manage all aspects of clinical care for the residents, focusing on dementia, falls management, wound care, continence management, palliative care, and more.
Responsibilities
- Providing services designed to promote healthy living, choice and independence
- Undertaking assessments, developing and documenting care plans
- Facilitating case conferences with residents and their families
- Managing medications
- Undertaking monthly analysis of clinical indicators and making recommendations to the Director of Care
- Completing documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Delivering care in accordance with the needs, goals, and preferences of the resident
- Managing admissions (specifically clinical assessment), leave and discharge

building a community in a superb beach‑side location. In operation for under a year, The Shoreline combines retirement living and premium residential aged care in one breathtaking coastal site.
About You
You will demonstrate compassion, kindness, and empathy with elderly and diverse individuals, maintain calm and optimistic under pressure, and respond intuitively to residents’ individual wants and needs.
Skills and Attributes
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in residential aged care nursing with emphasis on clinical assessments, care planning, indicator analysis and medication management
- Ability to deliver clinical training through toolbox talks and competency assessment
- Ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision
- Skill to work in a multi‑skilled team environment and communicate effectively with management, staff, stakeholders, medical and allied health professionals
- Highly developed organisational skills and ability to determine work priorities
- Understanding of the ageing process and commitment to advocate for older people in residential care and/or home care
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and other desktop applications
- Police check clearance
- Up‑to‑date vaccination as required by legislation or industry best practice from time to time
- Current Driver’s Licence (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications in gerontological conditions such as Dementia, behaviour management, palliative care, etc. (desirable)
