The Ministerial Liaison Officer manages and coordinates the Ministerial liaison function for SAFECOM and the Emergency Services Sector (ESS). The role undertakes project work, leads and contributes to SAFECOM communication strategies, develops and reviews policies and procedures, and supports senior officers with their state and national commitments. Other duties include managing Freedom of Information (FOI) applications.
About SAFECOM
We are the South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM). SAFECOM operates under the Fire and Emergency Services Act 2005 and works with the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS), the South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) and the South Australian State Emergency Service (SES). We operate under the guidance of the SAFECOM Board, whose members include the Chief Officers of the CFS, MFS and SES and the Chief Executive, SAFECOM.
