The Role

The Clinic Nurse Coordinator is responsible for organising, supporting and coordinating client care to ensure a smooth clinical operations and positive client health outcomes.





The role provides clinical leadership, resource management, service coordination and direct clinical care to maintain efficiency and responsiveness to client needs. This will be achieved with the role being a combination of administrative based work and clinical work (50/50).

The Clinics Nurse Coordinator reports to and provides management support to the Program Manager Acute Health and will accept additional responsibilities in relation to management of the Clinic Services in the absence of the Program Manager.

The Clinic Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for the following programs & services:

- Multidisciplinary Centre (MDC) Nurses
- Refugee Health Nurse
- Community Health Nurse
- Nurse Practitioner Primary Care & Chronic Disease (Diabetes)
- Diabetes Educators
- Continence Nurses

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Mandatory

- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and coordination skills within a healthcare setting.
- Experience in clinical oversight, staff support, and service coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
- Highly developed interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, key stakeholders,



clients and persons from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred

- Clinical experience in Community Health Nursing, including wound Care, Continence, Women’s Health, Refugee Health or Diabetes Education.
- Demonstrated ability to use electronic communication and software for client management and reporting.
