Due to growth, we are seeking the employment of a FIFO Electrical Fire Technician to join our expanding team. This is an excellent chance to join ARA Fire recognised for its strong customer focus in fire protection, service, and minor works.

Working autonomously and within a tight-knit team the FIFO Electrical Fire Technician Supervisor is supported by management and administrative persons to work within the Mining team providing I&T; and D&C; duties for our key remote clients on a 14 days on and 14 days off swing (12 hour days) maintaining Fire Detection, VESDA, Pumps, Sprinkler/Deluge/Special Hazards systems, Hydrants, Hose reels and Portables across their facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

- S26 Supervisor for team of technicians.
- I&T; routine compliance testing to AS1851
- D&C; / Breakdown works
- Close liaison with our client on site personal
- Scoping of materials for D&C; and Breakdown tasks
- Completing all on-site paperwork to access locations and perform tasks
- Reporting directly to our Operations Manager
- Completion of task within our Service Maintenance software CLARAFY

Requirements

- WA Electrical Licence or Fire Alarm Trade Certificate




- S26 Statutory Supervisor Qualification including Legislation Examination
- Current drivers licence inclusive of 4WD certification
- Completion of medical inclusive of drug & alcohol test
- Current Senior 1st aid course (preferable)
- Preference to those that have worked on mine sites previously
- Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (EAHL)
