New Piece is a design‑led furniture and homeware brand based in Sydney, curating contemporary pieces from emerging designers across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Our Alexandria showroom is a space where design, lifestyle and community meet. We are currently looking for a Sales & Client Relationship team member who enjoys working with people, appreciates design, and has a strong sense of organisation to support both showroom sales and day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom Sales & Customer Experience

- Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom
- Provide product knowledge and styling suggestions
- Prepare quotations and assist with order placements
- Follow up on customer enquiries and potential sales

Client Relationship (Retail & Trade)

- Maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, and trade clients
- Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with arranging showroom visits and product presentations

Order & System Coordination

- Organise and maintain order records within internal systemsEnsure orders correspond clearly with incoming shipments
- Assist with tracking deliveries and coordinating order updates

Showroom & Daily Operations

- Maintain the presentation and organisation of the showroom




- Assist with visual merchandising and showroom styling
- Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the space

Admin & Marketing Support

- Assist with general administrative tasks
- Support marketing activities such as content preparation, product updates, or campaigns
- Help coordinate showroom events and brand activities when needed

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, confident and enjoys interacting with clients
- Organised and detail‑oriented
- Interested in furniture, design, architecture or interiors
- Comfortable working across sales, client service and operational tasks
- Able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Previous experience in retail, showroom sales, customer service, or design‑related fields is highly valued.
