Water Treatment Engineer – Croydon, Greater London – £27k – £38k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing Water Treatment outfit, who has a strong presence across the South East of England. They are seeking a self-­sufficient and confident Water Treatment Engineer, who is comfortable leading on projects and setting a strong example for other engineers. You will be servicing a diverse range of client sites, conducting pre-­planned maintenance and servicing, including: closed system testing, cooling tower cleans and disinfections and calorifier purging. The successful candidate can expect attractive salaries and benefits (e.g. company vehicle, fuel card, overtime, pension scheme and annual leave).

Experience / Qualifications

- Experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer
- Excellent industry technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Ideally will hold industry related training courses
- Professional manner
- Positive literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Versatile to travel in line with company needs

The Role

- Attending client sites to conduct pre-planned Water Treatment duties
- Closed system testing and sampling
- Chemical dosing
- Calorifier and vessel purges
- TMV servicing and failsafe checks
- Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
- Showerhead descales
- Mains injections
- Leading on projects and training engineers
- Producing detailed technical reports
