We are delivering some of Australia's most engaging healthcare and infrastructure projects and are seeking a commercially minded Senior Project Controls & Cost Accountant to help build the next chapter of our business.
This is not a traditional accounting role.
You will sit at the centre of major projects, partnering directly with senior leadership to provide real-time commercial intelligence, cost controls, forecasting and decision support across a growing national portfolio.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for:
- Managing project budgets, cost forecasting and cashflow forecasting
- Tracking committed, actual and forecast expenditure
- Developing project dashboards and executive reporting
- Monitoring project profitability and margin performance
- Supporting commercial negotiations and business cases
- Managing monthly project forecasting reviews
- Working closely with Operations, Finance and Project Delivery teams
- Identifying commercial risks before they become problems
What We're Looking For
- Experience in project accounting, project controls or commercial management
- Experience within construction, infrastructure or major projects
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong business partnering skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment
