Hours and Pay: Salary £27,254 - £28,598 (pro‑rata), Salary Band £20,001 to £30,000, Post Type Permanent, Hours Per Week: Part time.

Lifeline Services have been providing award‑winning support to the residents of Darlington since 1989. The response team is based at our Town Hall. Integral duties of a Lifeline Response Officer include the demonstration, installation, and monitoring of various technology, alongside responding to emergency calls as necessary.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

- Demonstrate, install and monitor technology for residents in their homes.
- Respond to emergency calls in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain accurate records using databases and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection standards.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with a broad range of audiences.
- Manage administrative duties securely and efficiently.

Shift Patterns

- Wednesday: 19:30 – 06:00 (10 contracted hours, 30‑min unpaid break)




- Thursday: 19:30 – 06:00 (10 contracted hours, 30‑min unpaid break)
- Friday: 21:15 – 07:45 (10 hours, 30‑min unpaid break)
- Saturday: 21:15 – 07:45 (10 hours, 30‑min unpaid break)
- Sunday: 21:15 – 07:45 (10 hours, 30‑min unpaid break)

Requirements

- Enhanced DBS with Adult Barred list check.
- Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of GDPR.
