SAP Operational Procurement and Inventory Management (OPIM)

Contract to 31/12/2026 | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid working

We are partnering with a leading Queensland Government client to recruit an experienced Integration Correspondence Officer. In this role, you will provide expert advice and content knowledge of the S/4HANA solution to ensure maintenance, support, design and configuration activities are completed to meet service delivery and project objectives.

Key responsibilities:

- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, protected services and workplaces.
- Design, configure and test SAP S/4HANA in accordance with strict information system standards and documentation requirements.
- Train users of SAP S/4HANA in accordance with the adopted functionality and operating procedure.
- Document system configuration, technical specifications and procedures ensuring that they are maintained, reflect best practice for user requirements and appropriately comply with recognised Departmental and Government accounting and human resource policies.
- Liaise with clients to solve problems that arise in the SAP S/4HANA system in a timely manner.




- Proactively assess the effectiveness of the SAP S/4HANA system and liaise closely with stakeholders to recommend modifications to improve system effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement improvements to the processes involved in the deployment of application and infrastructure releases within Corporate Technology Services.

What we’re looking for?

- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP S/4HANA.
- Uses extensive SAP S/4 HANA knowledge to drive adoption of technology and process improvements that create superior solutions for the organisation, customers and vendors.
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills in the SAP S/4HANA OPIM and the ability to identify changes to the solution from existing S/4HANA 2021 to planned S/4HANA 2025 solution.
- Proven experience in formulating, documenting and implementing functional and technical specifications including sound knowledge of current technical trends, including systems integrations and service-orientated architecture.
- Extensive experience in the support and configuration of large-scale SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders on complex business requirements and transfer knowledge to team members and clients.
