The Department

The Neurodevelopment and Disability Team provides specialist care for children with developmental concerns, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, spina bifida and other long‑term disabilities. The team includes clinicians, researchers, administrators and training specialists across medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy and speech therapy, working collaboratively with families to deliver holistic and individualised care and to conduct research.

Role Description





The position is a 12‑month Fellow in the department of Neurodevelopment and Disability, commencing in February 2027, located in Parkville.

- Provide clinical care of inpatient children and supervise a limited amount of outpatient clinics
- Coordinate and deliver senior staff meetings
- Support clinical training for junior medical staff

Requirements

- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Compliance with RCHs “Staff Immunisation – Prevention of Vaccine‑Preventable Diseases” procedure
- All International Medical Graduate applicants must meet the AHPRA English Language requirements
