In this role, you won't just be driving; you’ll be a crucial part of the team's daily operations. Your primary responsibility will be safely transporting the roadworks crew and essential equipment to various site locations each day, assisting the crew in office as required, and returning everyone safely at the end of the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle to transport crew members and materials to roadwork sites.
- General road labouring duties
- Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures, road safety laws, and site fatigue management guidelines.
- Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections and maintain a clean cabin.
- Work collaboratively with the civil roadworks crew and assist with on-site duties where required.

What You Need to Bring
- A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence (with a clean driving record).
- A current Construction Induction Card (White Card) .
- Proven experience driving HR vehicles, ideally within civil construction or transport sectors.
- Must be available for periods of living away, usually might be a few days every two weeks, but can vary
- A strong commitment to safety and a punctual, reliable work ethic.
- Ability to pass a standard pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
