Active Crane Hire is a leading tower crane rental Company on the East Coast of Australia with HQ based in Somersby on the Central Coast NSW.
We are now seeking additional yard / transport personnel for our busy operations.
Theposition on offeris permanent with an immediate start.
About the Role
Primary DailyDuties would include assisting in theloading and unloading of semi trailers, beingflat top, extendable and drop deck,Transportation of cranes to and from Sydney,Daily safety checks on trucks and helping with keeping vehicles clean and presentable. If there are no Transport schedules further Duties will involve General Yard Work to assist in the preparation and maintenance of our Equipment.
About You
- A current HC license and good driving record
- RMS Driving history to be provided at 1st Interview
- A professional manner and presentation
- Ability to restrain loads using chains and straps
- Able to work occasionally on weekends and interstate
- Are versatile and self motivated with a mechanical aptitude and a "can do" approach.
- Able to work in a team oriented setting
- Must be prepared to undergo daily fit for work testing as part of our established Drug & Alcohol Policy
