Assist Clients with Medication - Trainer and Assessor

2 days per week (16 hours) - based at the Caboolture office. Mix of classroom delivery plus online support.

The successful candidate will be passionate about developing learners' skills and ensuring high-quality, compliant training that prepares students for safe medication assistance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging face-to-face, online, and/or workplace-based training.

Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements.

Facilitate practical skills sessions related to assisting clients with medication.

Provide timely feedback and learner support.

Maintain accurate training and assessment records.

Ensure training and assessment practices comply with Standards for RTOs and organisational policies.

Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.

Stay current with industry practices and regulatory requirements

CurrentTAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent as permitted under current 2025 RTO Standards).

Must be a registered EN or RN.





Relevant vocational qualification in nursing, aged care, disability, or a related health field.

Current industry experience involving medication assistance.

Demonstrated experience delivering and assessing vocational education and training.

Robust knowledge of medication administration principles, infection control, and client safety.

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Current National Police Check.

Experience delivering training in aged care, disability support, or community services.

Experience with online learning platforms and student management systems (we use aXcelerate).

Understanding of ASQA requirements and competency-based assessment.
