Sweet’s is a small neighbourhood wine bar in the heart of Nambour, built on good wine, genuine hospitality and creating a place people want to come back to.

We’re looking for a casual team member who’s excited to become part of the next chapter. This isn’t just about pouring wine—we’re looking for someone who enjoys looking after people, takes pride in doing things well and is keen to grow alongside the business.

About the role

No two shifts are the same. You might be:

- Welcoming guests and creating a relaxed, memorable experience.
- Recommending wines and learning about our ever-changing wine list.
- Preparing simple grazing boards and serving food.
- Mixing classic cocktails as our drinks offering grows.
- Keeping the venue clean, organised and running smoothly.
- Opening or closing the venue independently once fully trained.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Loves hospitality and genuinely enjoys talking with people.
- Has an interest in wine (or is enthusiastic about learning).
- Is reliable, self‑motivated and takes initiative.
- Stays calm and organised when things get busy.
- Is happy pitching in wherever needed.
- Wants to be part of building something special, not just picking up shifts.
- Is available to work evenings and weekends as part of a regular roster.





Experience

Previous hospitality experience is valued, but attitude is far more important. If you’re eager to learn, curious about wine and committed to delivering great service, we’d love to hear from you.

A current RSA is required (or the ability to obtain one before commencing).

Hours & Availability

This is a casual position, initially offering approximately 8–15 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as Sweet’s continues to grow.

Shifts are primarily Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon/evenings, so regular availability during these times is essential.

We’re looking for someone who values consistency and can become a reliable part of our small team.
