Casual Court Monitor - In office - Brisbane

Administration, legal, technical, technological, sound production, or data-entry experience/background desirable

The Role

We are seeking Court Monitors to work 3-5 days per week (Monday-Friday) to produce high-quality recordings and annotations of court proceedings. Comprehensive training and support will be provided.

Monitors record proceedings and produce annotations or logs of those proceedings to aid in the process of accurate transcription. Proceedings may take place on site in courtrooms, at client premises, or may be recorded from the office.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Produce high quality audio recordings of hearings
- Input and manage integrity of data in various databases
- Produce accurate and detailed annotations of hearings to aid transcription




- Liaise with court staff and key stakeholders

What we're looking for

- Australian permanent residency or Australian citizenship.
- Willingness to undertake a security clearance.
- Availability of Monday – Friday (3-5 days/week), with willingness to work outside of standard business hours when required.
- Willingness to work from our Brisbane offices, as well as travel to regional locations for recording proceedings when required.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to lift and set up heavy equipment when required (up to 30KG).
- Current driver’s licence and vehicle desirable but not essential.
- Administration and/or technical experience in sound production or recording desirable but not essential.
